Arsenal
have received a huge boost following speculation Chelsea won’t dictate which
club Petr Cech can join in the summer.
The Czech international goalkeeper is expected to end his 11-year
association with the Blues at the end of the season, after falling behind
Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order.
Arsenal are among the clubs keen to snap up the 32-year-old, but
previously looked unlikely to strike a deal with their Premier League rivals.
However, according to the Daily Mirror,
Chelsea may now not decline Cech a move to the Gunners as long as their London
counterparts stump up the £10m asking price.
However, the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain may yet
attempt to have their say in proceedings, with Cech likely to be very much in
demand.
