Manchester United could be
forced into signing Radamel Falcao – if he plays against Hull City on the last
game of the season.
The Colombian has
disappointed during a season-long loan deal to Old Trafford, but a clause in
his contract means a 15th Premier League start next weekend would trigger a
deal for the striker, claim the Express.
The forward has scored
four goals in 14 Premier League matches this season and the report claims
that the Red Devils would be forced into signing the 29-year-old if he starts
15 matches and scores five goals.
Having started in United’s
1-1 draw with Arsenal yesterday, Falcao was substituted on the hour mark and
appeared to wave goodbye to the Old Trafford crowd as he made way for Robin van
Persie.
However, with
relegation-battling Hull to come on the final day of the season, United run the
risk of signing the striker on a permanent deal if he is to start against Steve
Bruce’s side
