Manchester United handed transfer boost as PSV sporting director suggests Memphis Depay ‘will leave club this summer’

Manchester United transfer target Memphis Depay will almost certainly leave PSV in the summer, according to the Dutch club’s sporting director Marcel Brands.
The Netherlands international has been linked with a host of European clubs including Liverpool, Tottenham and PSG.
Depay, 21, is valued at £25 million and PSV seem resigned to losing him at the end of the season.
Brands told ANP: ‘The chances are very high that he leaves. If you see what clubs are enquiring about him, they really are the best in Europe.
‘When I talk for PSV I would say he is not ready and should continue here for another year.
‘But I am realistic and if I worked at a big European club, I’d buy him without question.’

The highly-rated youngster has scored 25 times in 34 appearances for PSV this campaign, and would be a potent attacking weapon for the likes of United, Liverpool or Spurs.
