First
rule of moving house: Don’t p*ss off your new neighbours.
But David and Victoria Beckham obviously didn’t get the memo as
they have upset at least one of the locals near their new home – and they
haven’t even moved in!
The Beckhams, who are due to move in to a £31.5million four
floor London mansion soon, have caused ripples in their community with plans to
install air conditioning in at least five of the rooms.
The neighbour is so upset that he has written to the local council
to object to the plans, claiming that it would be detrimental to the historical
Victorian building which the Beckhams are moving into.
The angry letter said: ‘The council must identified (sic) our
deep concerns about all adverse impacts on living conditions from noise,
vibration, dirt, pollution and dust from construction and from associated
traffic, in addition to concerns about impacts on drainage, on appearance and
landscape, on structural stability, and on historic buildings.’
Blimey, someone has a bee in their bonnet!
The
rooms tipped for a constant breeze include the vast wine cellar and the newly
installed gym.
The Beckhams have already installed a state of the art sound
system so that music can be played in every room. Rooms include a study, a
powder room, a cinema, a fully equipped salon and a snug for David, as well as
six bedrooms.
Staff for the couple will have access to the property through a
specially hidden secret tunnel.
We can’t wait for the council letter when the neighbour discovers
THAT bombshell.
