NBA legend Steve Nash has
retired from basketball. Nash, who played last for the Los
Angeles Lakers, announced his retirement on Saturday in an article on The
Players Tribune.
In the article, Nash told his story
from his childhood dreams to being an NBA legend, and paid tribute to important
people who helped in his journey like fellow Suns star Amar’e Stoudemire.
Nash was twice named regular season
MVP, is ranked 3rd for most assists in NBA history, and is set to go down in history
as one of the greatest point-guards ever.
