According
to reports emanating from the Signal Iduna park, Borussia Dortmund are ready to
cash in on their German defender, Matts Hummels and Manchester United are set
to make a move.
Manchester United have been on Hummels trail for the
better part of a year now and Matts Hummels himself had indicated desire to
Leave Dortmund and the Dortmund club seemed to have conceded defeat in their
quest to keep one of their key players and are now willing to let the player
leave for a sizeable offer in the summer. Dortmund are believed to value the
world cup winning defender somewhere around 30 million euros and Manchester
United should have no problems matching that price tag in their quest for
relevance in European football once again.
Arsenal are also reported to be interested in the
defender and would be prepared to do ballet with Manchester United for the
player’s signature even though the German has stated that his preferred club of
transfer in Manchester United.
