Chelsea
are reportedly set to pay Gareth Bale’s £75million Real Madrid release clause
to finally sign him this summer.
The Blues have been strongly linked with Bale in the last few
weeks, amid talk that he is set to quit Madrid.
And now reports say Chelsea are ready to pay his £75million
release clause in order to get him signed up.
Bale still maintains that he’s happy in Madrid and expects to
stay, but Chelsea are tipped to offer him £300,000-a-week to get a deal done.
He would be Chelsea’s highest paid player ever, which wouldn’t be
a problem, with the club receiving a boost to their Financial Fair Play
coffers.
