Borussia
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has revealed the German club have not received
any formal offers for defender Mats Hummels.
The
Germany World Cup winner has been linked with a move to Manchester United in
recent months, and admitted at the weekend he would be open to
making a transfer abroad.
Despite reported interest from United, though, Dortmund chief
Watzke has confirmed the Bundesliga outfit have not yet been contacted by keen
clubs for Hummels.
‘Mats has a contract with us until June 2017, and we have not
received any offers for him yet, so we are relaxed,’ he told German publication
Bild.
‘He had a conversation with sporting director Michael Zorc two
weeks ago. Mats informed us that he is thinking about his future and there is
nothing wrong with that.’
