Alonso To Return At Malaysian Grand Prix


Mclaren driver, Fernando Alonso has not driven in competition since crashing his car during testing in Barcelona and suffering a concussion. Alonso was ruled out of the Barcelona and Melbourne Grand Prix but could be set to return on Sunday in Malaysia.

Alonso visited the McLaren factory earlier today and is set to undergo tests tomorrow and if the driver is given the all clear, he could make his racing return in Malaysia. Alonso said he felt his steering go heavy just before the crash in Barcelona and McLaren have stated that his car would be fitted with extra sensors to gather data as he races. Alonso has been in a rigorous training sessions to ensure safer racing for the 33 year old. While his medical examiners worked on him for a while before he was deemed fit to fly to Malaysia and might be ready to race, depending on tests results. But things are looking good for McLaren.
Alonso would be hoping for a podium finish in order to get points on the leader board in his quesrt to break the dominance of Mercedes drivers, Nico Roseberg and Lewis Hamilton
